What a day!

Today my darling daughter did not have her listening ears on. She ran away from me in the mall, she ran away from me in the parking lot. Then after a serious talking too and a lot of tears, she fell asleep on the way home. She does not take naps anymore so she woke up super cranky. I was trying to get something finished I had started when she was napping and I hear her get really quiet, then she comes out and says "mommy can you get the cream off" I look at her and she has smeared diaper rash ointment all over her face, hands clothes, bins in the dresser, the dresser, the floor and several of her toys. I use multiple wipes to get it off and then put her in the bath and give her another serious talk. She gets out of the bath and then proceeds to spill an almost full 20 oz glass of lemonade. More washing, sop up the mess, mop the floor, it is still sticky. Because she took a nap she didn't go to sleep until ten. I am now trying to finish up what I started when she napped and at 1:00 am I am finally going to bed and I bet she will still get up at 7 am. Tomorrow better be better or I am staying in bed.
